Site 36 is way too steep to level a trailer front to back. The host was very helpful and moved us to site 45. Sites in the back loop have less road noise and some shade. Site 45 is full sun. Clean vault toilets and quiet at night. Mostly families, with a few young adult groups.

My fiancé and I took a road trip to Colorado from Oregon with our two German Shepherds and we found Kelly Dahl when looking for sites in the area. We stayed here for 3 days 2 nights and it was so nice to relax there after traveling for so many hours and days. The bathrooms were clean, easy to navigate, and the sites weren’t close together which we really enjoyed. We met lots of great people and overall it was a wonderful experience! We will definitely be back :)

One loop is first come and the other loop is reservations only. Host was hard to find during the day as he said he took care other campgrounds as well. But he was friendly and helped us switch to another campsite that was better suited for our rig. Nice quiet camp with good water. Cannot fill your RV with the water as it is a paddle faucet.

We had a fantastic mid-week stay here. The site and pit toilets were very clean. We were happy to have access to water at multiple spigits. This campground is very family friendly and we love that it has a playground. I was also happy to feel like I was so far away from everything when really you are only 7 min from Nederland! We will be back :)

The bathrooms were clean. Someone was in my campsite and the camp hosts resolved the situation quickly. I stayed in #22. #21 has a bit of traffic being right by the road but has a snow capped mountain view. #26 and#27 are nicely spaced and near the bathrooms.

Camp host was non-existent. Didn’t clean any sites. Fire rings had pile of half burned wood. Never even came to check us in. Toilets were clean though. Sites were nice and well spaced. A nice close getaway.

My family and I have come here quite a bit, unfortunately on this trip I went to sit on the picnic table and it came up on one side I just recently had surgery and this was not good
Please have it checked out.
We did say it to the camp host .
