We LOVE camping at Olive Ridge. The sites are far apart from each other. Great tent areas at the campsites. Good fire pits. Nice out houses. Beautiful trees.
The only thing that needs repair is the road that goes through the campground. It is bumpy and has big holes. Definitely needs repair.

Super close to RMNP! Every campsite is pretty, shaded and private. Kids loved the big boulders to climb on. Firewood sold in the campground. Clean vault toilet bathrooms. A few deer walked by our site the first afternoon we were there.

We love the quietness of Olive Ridge. Some campers may be disappointed that there is no electrical or water available. However, Olive Ridge is within 20 minutes of Estes Park and you can escape the busyness of the tourists. We particularly like the friendliness of the camp host Steve. He provided information about local places to eat and things to see.

This was a great experience for my family (including a 2 and 6 year-old). The space was big, we could see mountains from the site, and we even saw a moose near the entrance! Olive Ridge is close to Lily Lake, Twin Sisters Trail Head, and a short drive to Estes Park. I highly recommend this campground and will be back ASAP.

This is a very nice campground! Clean and relatively quiet! It’s not far off Hwy 7 so you do get a bit of road noise, but not bad! Lots of nice trees, so it’s nicely shaded! Nice fire rings! And nice level pads for tents to be set up on! Out houses could be emptied more often!
All in all, a wonderful weekend for our group!

Site 34 was supposed to be first come first serve on the weekend. We received an email 1 week prior to our stay stating that, due to a website error, it was not first come first serve and that it had been reserved. What was supposed to be a three day camp experience turned into a non-experience. Thanks a lot.

The campsite we stayed at was quite large. We were well spaced from other campers. Wood was easily purchased at check-in, which was not staffed when we arrived (around 1:00p). We stayed just one night, but my husband reports the bathrooms were clean. The tent pad was good. All was good. A great place to camp especially if you intend to hike at Wild Basin which is just up the road - 5 min away.
