No water, even though the entrance info board says there is water available. Very misleading.

I love Olive Ridge's proximity to Wild Basin! The two times I've stayed—even when making a reservation late—I've enjoyed the campsites. I'm rarely there long enough to need water (other than what I can easily carry in), but the only complaint/suggestion would be to have water available on-site.

This was our 4th time at Olive Ridge in 4 years time. The bathrooms have declined over the past 4 years and could really use some quality control. No cell service (GoogleFi). This is a nice campground for kids - lots of shade on most sites, boulders to climb on. We take all our water on all our camping trips since many campgrounds are like this one and no longer provide water. The Wild Basin entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is nearby if you are looking for a hike in the park. The campgrounds do not have hiking trails directly from the camp and do have a perimeter barbed-wire fence that is marked as private property, so I wouldn't advise cutting across the fence to "explore". There is a river at the bottom of the hill on the county road by the campground - fun bike ride down the hill, good workout going back! Estes Park is a short drive from the campgrounds as well.

Very nice camphosts. We were in a drop in site. It was nice site. Camper next to us had a very loud generator that went from 5-9 every night. Maybe not allow loud generatu

The location of this campground and it’s proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park we’re perfect for us. We hiked into the park and saw Calypso Falls near the Wild Basin area. It was a yurt and we’ll maintained campground!

Road was washboard in several places getting into the campgrounds. Otherwise, the experience was great. Nice site & other campers were very respectful.

Generally we had a nice experience at Olive Ridge. The garbage containers were near overflowing which isn’t a good idea in bear country. Luckily no bears were trying to dine on this camping experience.
