A lovely campground where very few spaces are too close to one another. We stayed in the Pika loop and will book it again later this summer.
No water, as is stated clearly in the description, but Crystal Springs has a free tap on the side of the main road in Allenspark, about three minutes south of Olive Ridge.

Olive Ridge campground is a campground that is in need of some updating. We have been camping there for many many years and it is slowly deteriorating. The sites need updating to keep up with newer and larger RV's. The campground hosts in the past have been very cordial, courteous and prompt in the upkeep of the sites and the restrooms. This year, however, at least in the loop that we were staying in, that was lacking. The bathrooms needed to be cleaned more than the 1 time a day that I saw them being cleaned. The sites were untouched from the previous campers and we dealt with their left behind remnants from their stay. That being said, I will continue to stay at Olive Ridge in the future, as it is a FAVORITE campground of ours.

Camp Hosts are great and the campsite was clean and well maintained. The only downside is the lack of any connections (water or electric), so you have to bring all your water with you. Worth camping here, and it's only a 20-25 minute drive to Estes Park should you really need something.

There is no water, but we knew that before. Area is beautiful. Sites are large and clean. We come back several times a season

Lovely location, good space between sites, easy access to great hiking!
No water - be sure to bring everything you'll need.
Bathrooms are stinky - try to get a site not too near one.

Nice campground. Quiet. Large spaces. Great birding, especially around the edges of the campground.

There is no running water so bring your own. Sites are generously sized and well spaced apart. Would definitely go back again!

Great campsite that is well wooded. We liked the Pika loop the most. Vault toilets still open during pandemic.
