Great campground with lots of shade and room between camp sites. Only complaint is the bathroom needed maintenance as it wasn’t venting making it the worst smelling bathroom I’ve ever been in at a campground.

Olive Ridge is a beautiful rustic campground in the mountains. We went to Mekkers down the road to shower and get provisions. It only takes about 20 minutes to get into the "Rocky Mountains NP.

Stunning, hardly any mosquitoes, trails near campsites, trees provide sense of privacy and solitude between sites and shelter from rain, and bathrooms are well maintained. Dumpsters for guest use and bear-safe food holders. Perfect! Near community center of Allenspark, too!

The vault restroom near our site was extremely hard to use due to strong odor similar to ammonia. We had to hold our breath in order to use.

Great host at Olive Ridge. The campground has some sites that are fairly level, but several an rv would be unable to use. Wish the Rec.gov site gave better descriptions.
