One of the prettiest NForest campgrounds in Colorado and great location near national park.

My only concern is the nightly visit by the bear breaking into cars. Very concerned someone is going to get hurt let alone all the property damage.

Campsites are perfect. Area is beautiful. Bathrooms are nearly intolerable. Vault toilets do not all smell so bad and most have hand sanitizer.

Campground was beautiful and quiet, however the lack of drinking water and trash service took my rating down a star.

Large sites with shade. Only draw back was no water and pit toilets. But the toilets were pretty good as far as pit toilets are considered.

This is a nice campground close to Allenspark and a short drive to Estes Park. It is approximately 1.3 miles from the Wild Basin entrance for hiking trails into RMNP. The campground has no water, so bring your own. Sites are well spaced with room for a variety of RV's and tents. The bathrooms were maintained daily and were clean. There is shade at most all sites. One loop is First Come the rest are reserved. No cell service is available at the campsite. Wifi is available through the "Old Gallery" in Allenspark.
