The host and maintainance person could not have been more helpful! The bathrooms were very clean. There was wood for sale on site. The location is central to the east side of the park, very close to Wild Basin TH, which was a great hike.

We camped at Olive Ridge from August 27 - September 4, 2023. It was my first time camping at Olive Ridge. I am a Native of Colorado and have camped all over the state. Olive Ridge is now my forever campstop. I found the camp ground to be very clean and quiet. The camp host was very polite, knowledgeable and very awesome. We definitely had the best week of camping ever. Thank you to Dominic the camp host for adding to our awesome camping week.

A quiet place in the trees. There's few amenities, but the peace and quiet we're welcome.

Lovely campground with super private campsites. The staff was outstanding. There was a bear making frequent trips into the campground and we were kept aware of its activities on a regular basis; informed when it was trapped and taken away. We had contact with the staff several times a day; they kept everything clean and tidy.
This campground is VERY convenient to Rocky Man. Nat'l Park; we went in everyday of our stay. We'd gotten timed entry passes (through RMNP) in advance. However, this campground is so close that you could easily enter the park before 9 a.m. when you don't need a timed entry; or after 2 when timed entry is also not needed.

We really like Olive Ridge. It's a pretty quiet campground normally. The camp hosts are always friendly. The sites are just far enough apart to get a little privacy if you want it. There are a number of rocks around for casual bouldering.
