We ended up being in a small outer campsite within view and hearing of the main road, unlike 99% of the sites, so our noisy experience was not typical. The sites with lake view all seemed much nicer, so it was ok, but I would recommend avoiding the very last campsite compared to the rest.

This location was perfect for me. Great views of the lake, and very clean and quiet. A close drive to the city in Grand Lake, Colorado.

It was extremely beautiful- amazing place (despite cold weather and a little rain) for a couple's getaway. Really helped bonded my significant other and myself. Some of the trees were already turning to fall, which was really nice to see. Depending on where you come from, the drive could be a little scary due to passing the "tree line," but if you aren't too scared of heights, it is a beautiful drive all the way over there. Absolutely will go back.

Scenic lake & Mountain View. Clean restrooms and showers (lukewarm/cool). Campgrounds clean & quiet. A13 directly across the road from restrooms/showers, a 1-minute walk. Saw lots of squirrels and chipmunks, did not see anything else. Solo woman camper - felt very safe.

Nice campground with clean bathrooms and showers. Very convenient CG to access the west side of RMNP and the cool town of Grand Lake. A dishwashing station would be nice.
