The section we were in only had one working women's toilet (other one was broken). In that loop it has the most campsites and even if 2 of the toilets were working it still isn't enough for that many people. The weekend we were there, it was very noisy with large groups that didn't adhere to 10 pm quiet hours. Wouldn't recommend staying in a tent on this site C126 as it's right next to the bathroom and dumpster. So there are lights on the bathroom building all night and people dumped their trash late at night which was noisy. The camp host do keep the campsites very clean.

Even with the water level super low and the fire ban, we followed ban laws and brought a propane fire pit so we didn’t feel like we were missing anything and paddle boarding on the lake for hours everyday was amazing. Boats were respectful/ mindful, neighbors respected quiet times after dark. We highly enjoyed our stay

Bathrooms needed updating. Hot water was inconsistent. Loud campers next door were loud till midnight (and very early) and weren't told to be quiet. All well within earshot of host. One of hosts said "she isn't a cop" and refused to enforce the rules. Fires were happening during a fire ban. I was able to find one host who told neighbor having a fire to put it out.

Stillwater is a very nice campground. Since this review is public I will say that if you can, reserve during a full moon and if you're lucky enough to have it be clear weather, you will be treated to an amazing moon rise during the full moon. You get great phone signal at the grounds, you're close to the town of Grand Lake, the lake itself has some nice beach area. However, due to our darned drought conditions, the lake is very very low right now so the mud near the shores is a tough slog. All that said, this campground is one of my favorites.

This is a wonderful location in the Lake Granby area. The staff (new management company this year) is doing an excellent job.
The situation with both the mens and womens showers is HORRIBLE. There is rarely hot water. This has been an ongoing issue for more than 5 years. The showers are ancient, the heads shoot water all the way out of the shower into the changing area.
There are only 2 working showers in the main mens and womens rest room building. These are for the hundreds of campers at this campground as well as those that come in to use them from the surrounding NFS campgrounds.

The lake and town were great but the campsite left some to be desired. #60 has a lot of street noise and you’re only allowed to put tents on the tent pads, not the grass. We called ahead because it said our site could fit 8 but we had 3 tents for different couples and nobody got back to us. We had to put our tents on the ground behind our cars. You also aren’t allowed to hammock. Bathrooms were nice.

The campground is on the east side of the highway.

Policies & Rules
General
- RV water connections are only available on sites with electric hookups. RV connections are not available at the non-electric sites.
- This is bear country! For bear and human safety, keep a clean campsite and do not place food or other attractants in your tent. For more information about visiting bear country, contact Colorado Parks and Wildlife at http://wildlife.state.co.us
- Boats are subject to inspection to prevent the spread of zebra and quagga mussels.
- Click here to purchase the Arapaho National Recreation Area pass; Interagency America the Beautiful Age and Access passports are valid for admission
- You must stay in the campsite you reserved. Site-swapping is not allowed.
- Amperage is variable with choices of 20, 30, and 50 amps.

- Don't Move Firewood: Prevent the spread of tree-killing organisms by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
- All campsites must be occupied within 26 hours of the beginning of the reservation.
- EXTRA VEHICLE FEES: One vehicle is included in your reservation. Any additional vehicles will be charged $8.00 per vehicle per night and will be collected by the camphost. There is not a way to pay for extra vehicles when you make your reservation. One vehicle consists of one camper being towed by vehicle, or any other vehicle towed behind camper. One van or one truck with camper attached counts as one vehicle.
- Fire Restrictions: Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed.
- Tents must fit on pads provided. RVs, trailers or other vehicles must fit on the parking spur. Driving or parking off road is not permitted. Parking can accomodate RVs of many sizes; spurs range from 25 to 40 feet in length.
- Modifications for this campground must be made through Recreation.gov PRIOR to your reservation start date.
