We had a great time here! It is right off the road, but the elevation difference helps with feeling a bit more secluded. We could hear the creek at night which was very relaxing. I also love how small this campground is, and our dog loved the easy access to the creek.

This is basically a kayakers campsite.

Small and intimate campground, right on the river. The bathroom was super clean and the campers were polite and quiet. The river was high and we got to watch white water rafters off and and on during the day navigate the rapids. Nice spot!

Robert and his wife (I'm sorry, I may have forgotten her name but I think it's Beth), are the best camp hosts SP has had in years. I hope they are back next year!

Nice campsites. Walk to tent sites are on the creek and well separated from the RV sites.

Stove prairie is an absolutely gorgeous, quiet location right by the river with chokecherry trees and apple trees surrounding the grounds. It was very clean and well kept. I would highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

Great location, close to lots of hikes and right on the river. The sites were a good distance apart and the bathroom was cleaned each day. Would stay here again!
