We stayed at campsite 63 on Loop E. While our campsite didn’t have a mountain view most on the loop do. Water was within close walking distance. The bathrooms were a little far, but they were well maintained. The campsite was good, not too close to the campsites beside it. It had shade in the evening. Most of the campsites on Loop E are exposed, so I would suggest a covering for shade. Lots of hiking potential around. We drove to the Sapphire Loop, Old Dillon Reservoir, and to a hike at Boulder Lake. Paddleboarding and biking were also very popular, you could walk about a quarter mile and launch your paddleboard.

The campground was beautiful. While our campsite was close to the water, wish that it had a better view. But easy to walk there. Campsite itself was large and clean

Re site 11 loop B. We like this site, but have noticed the sad neglect of the picnic table.
We visited last year and the table looked bad then too. Peeling top. Needs to be scraped and painted. Some of us do not have a motor home and like to eat outdoors.
Campsites will probably never return with bathrooms with running water, sinks. However I can dream! Vault toilet ok, but sees a lot of use. Camp hosts seem to do the best they can with a lot of sites to manage.
