The campgrounds hosts were helpful as always and the reservation went smoothly. However, the condition of the campground is deteriorating, at least on loop B, and items need to be addressed. The driveway on our campsite was dangerous both to park in and walk in due to the asphalt falling apart. We have had this situation more than once on this loop. Maintenance and repair is long overdue.

One of the best camping sites in all of Colorado, especially in "C" Loop. Please upgrade the B, D, & E Loop sites with Electric/Water to really make Heaton Bay SUPER!!

Great location that's convenient to all the local sites, secluded camp sites, very close reservoir access and close to the bike path. Love it here!

Beautiful, well maintained sites. Garrett is a friendly, helpful campground host, and his cleaning crew was thorough and dependable. I know you can't control the weather, but it was lovely, too! Thank you!

Good: The campground has beautiful views of the lake and mountains. Conveniently located near town. Fire ring has a grill for cooking.
Bad: No showers or running water, only a single vault (latrine) toilet available. There is water at the RV area but it's pretty far from the tent area.
