What Guests Are Saying
Peak One Campground boasts a fantastic location near trails, towns, and Lake Dillon, making it ideal for outdoor activities. The campground is clean, well-maintained, and offers good privacy between sites. However, there are ongoing issues with restroom facilities, as vault toilets remain closed and only porta-potties are available, which some guests found less than satisfactory.

Sites are close to each other, but the water is close. The amenities are good and mountain biking trails are very close.

The hosts were personable and accommodating. The bathrooms were well kept. The location is awesome and the mountain bikes trails on the Peninsula are easily accessible from this campground. The perimeter trail was built to ride counter clockwise, but is a nice ride either way. Awesome views. More trails coming in 2023. The sites are unimproved-no tent pads and generally un level for RVs. Very busy on the weekends.

Nice camp park. Awesome views. It would be nice if they have some full service RV sites.

Camp hosts were pretty rude - guy was ok but maybe his wife(?) was pretty rude. Firewood available wasn’t very dry and took some work to get lit.
Overall the site has great access to the lake and beautiful views. Restroom being close by was nice also.

We have camped at Peak One for many years now. We love loop B as the sites are longer and wider. Many of the campers are respectful of the campground rules and the camp hosts are accessible. Bathrooms are clean and nice to have flush toilets. Nice waking up to the beautiful surroundings. Too bad the water levels are down.

Campers must occupy the site the first night at a campsite. This precents booking the site for Fri-Sun and showing up on a Saturday. |

Campers may leave the site for 24 hours and must occupy the site otherwise. This allows a camper to say go for an overnight backpack trip in the woods for one night and come back to their campsite the next day. |
