What Guests Are Saying
Peak One Campground boasts a fantastic location near trails, towns, and Lake Dillon, making it ideal for outdoor activities. The campground is clean, well-maintained, and offers good privacy between sites. However, there are ongoing issues with restroom facilities, as vault toilets remain closed and only porta-potties are available, which some guests found less than satisfactory.

Site #46 had a great view of the lake and distant mountains. However, it is very tiny. Barely got our little 13 foot teardrop and our tow vehicle into the site. No way you could have a second vehicle. I never saw the campground hosts, but everything was clean and very quiet. Not many trees, but it seemed like most of the sites were spaced far enough apart that it didn't feel like we were camping with our neighbors. Our favorite part of this campground, and the reason we'll return is its proximity to mountain biking trails. The peninsula trail system was a ton of fun and easy to do a quick ride in the evening. We also rode the paved recreation trails right from camp, which was nice too.

Immaculate campsite, restrooms, and site as a whole. I had no idea there would be flush toilets and running water in the restroom. Nice surprise! Loved the easy walking access to Lake Dillon and beautiful views of Peak 1. I-70 traffic is audible through the night, which did not bother me but others may want to know. Helpful campground hosts. Will visit again for sure! Thank you!!

No water bib for us to fill out travel trailer. Had water but outlets just filled jugs.

Small campground, pretty quiet on a Sunday night for somewhere so close to Frisco. Very peaceful!

We stayed on the B Loop of Peak One. The sites are well spaced and well maintained. Cell phone coverage is good enough to stay connected (if you want it.) We could easily carry our inflatable kayak to Lake Dillon.

Campers may leave the site for 24 hours and must occupy the site otherwise. This allows a camper to say go for an overnight backpack trip in the woods for one night and come back to their campsite the next day. |
