Monument Lake was a beautiful place to stay for 10 nights. Wish we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed walking around the lake, fishing and building campfires. No shore power. The fresh water and dump station were on the grounds of Midway Campground. We dumped and refilled twice during our stay. The grounds were very well-groomed and the camp hosts were very accommodating. Cell coverage good with ATT hotspot. We will stay again in the future.

Great spot to explore area. Very good WiFi connection, some road noise, also seems easy to get stuck between big rigs so choose tent area if you are small

Perfect location, beautiful little loop with everyone having a nice view. Sunset was gorgeous. Running water bathroom on one side made for a nice walk around the lake. Main road running through the Everglades was definitely audible from spots near the front of the campground. Overall the location and proximity to national park make it the perfect stop over for a trip through the park and preserve.

Campsite and facilities were excellent. We got to see the SpaceX Falcon Heavy launch from our campsite. Hosts were very informative and helpful.

Nice campsite with standard fire pits (hard to cook because the grates can’t be lowered), decent spacing, and relatively secluded. Surprisingly has full cell coverage with AT&T (this could be a pro or con depending on self control).

5 stars! Delores the host was wonderful, created us as we arrived and was very nice. Bathrooms were very clean, even the pit toilets. The park was nice and quiet and no bright street lights so we could see the starts at night. Also, we had the most beautiful sunset!
