Well kept campground. Tent sites were nice. Working hot shower and friendly/helpful camp host! I did a lot of exploring on foot/bike. Shark Valley was awesome. Highly recommend the astronomy program at the nearby visitor center. Bring everything you may need. Food/firewood/etc. There isn't much nearby, but that's part of the attraction!

Great location to explore Big Cypress and SW FL, really nice clean campground, and even hot showers! Hosts are really nice too.

Monument Lake was quiet and peaceful. We saw lots of birds, including a peregrine falcon. The camp hosts were helpful and kept everything clean. One of our best experiences camping in Florida.

Tent sites are bigger than rvs sites and rvs sites are more expensives for not more services( no water,no electricity) plus,got very bad informations about the park Lifetime pass and directions in the reserve. I think peopale Who work in a campinground should no more about where they work....

This campground is awesome. It was very empty the few days before Thanksgiving and peaceful. The spots are spacious and the sunsets were perfect. The bathrooms are very clean with a large shower. It’s a great distance between Everglades City and Shark Valley. Absolutely would stay here again

Beautiful location, amazing wildlife, great facilities, and fantastic hosts! A little bit of highway noise, but it didn't detract from the experience at all.
