Kipahulu Campground offers a stunning location with breathtaking views, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favorite among visitors. The campground features spacious sites, well-maintained bathrooms, and close proximity to the beautiful Pipiwai Trail. I highly recommend this campsite!!!! Clean, very spacious spots, beautiful surroundings, very friendly and caring people working there. Nature is absolutely stunning. Recommend doing the walk through the bamboo forest to the waterfall, really really really nice! And also the nearby and very easy walk to the 7 ponds is nice. I highly recommend staying here 2 nights at least. The walk-in campsites are a special treat, book early!!!

Nice green camp site with a great view. Only toilets are available but you can get water from the visitor Center.

Beautiful car camping experience. Very easy after hours check in. There are outhouse style bathrooms in the camping area. Campsite is close to hikes within the national park. Loved our stay here.

We have loved camping here for over 35 years, with a 5 year pause since pre-pandemic. While we loved choosing our site, we did notice much less shoreline trail access, particularly to the North of camp ground. We hope it's due to pandemic overgrowth, and will eventually be trimmed back.

Great area! Clean facilities, and campsites are tucked away from main visitor center. Easy access to get up to the trails from the campsites.

We stayed at camp site 10 and it was a prime spot! Shaded by trees and a short walking distance to the bathrooms. Make sure you are prepared for everything you’d need for camping as the site doesn’t haven’t anything there to borrow (ex: grill brush, charcoal, matches). Beautiful views and fun sport to explore! Campsites we’re pretty spacious from each other which was nice. Highly recommend.

Campsite and park very clean and quiet. Easy check-in. Beautiful view. Woke up in the morning with stick bugs and geckos all over our tent!

We love this campground. It might be the best in the national park system.
