Great location to see the sunrise from the ocean's horizon! The waterfalls were spectacular!

Campground for camper vans/cars is spacious and the provided grill and bench for each spot are quite useful. Of course the location is also beautiful and access to the Pipiwai trail is a huge plus.

Beautiful camp spot. Very clean and well kept facilities. Spots are well spaced so feel private. No bugs to be seen. Fall asleep to the sound of waves!

This was an amazing spot to camp. We had number 5 under a banyan tree and loved it since it shaded us. There are more bugs in this spot, as long as you have bug spray you will be good. It was only a 3 minute walk to the ocean to watch the sunrise and sunset.

Delightful campground close to ocean. Visitor center worked fine for water. We were there for hikes. Not disappointed

I camped in spot 7, nestled under a pair of trees in the infield of the campground's vehicle loop. From under the trees I had a lovely view to the water, where I watched the sun rise in the morning. The campground and facilities were clean, well-maintained, and nicely kept. I wish more than one night had been available, because I would have loved to stay longer.
I was up with the sunrise, and walked to visit the seven sacred pools; at that time of the day I had them entirely to myself, whcih was a luxury in itself not having to share that beautiful spot with anybody. The walk from the campground to the pools along the ocean in the early morning was also a gorgeous and peaceful time.
I cannot more-strongly recommend camping at Kipahulu . It is a truly breathtaking, lovely spot.

We really enjoyed this campground. We were in site 10 for two nights and felt it was the best spot because of the shade and privacy. The camping spots are all very well spaced with cooking grills and picnic tables. The only downside is there is no water, hence no showers. The pit toilets are great though and very conveniently located.
There is lots to explore in this area. You might want to stock up before you get there because the nearest shopping is in Hana, a ½ hour away on a very windy road which can get quite busy.

Epic sights all around. The spots nearest the ocean are best in my opinion.
