What Guests Are Saying
Kipahulu Campground offers a stunning location with breathtaking views, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favorite among visitors. The campground features spacious sites, well-maintained bathrooms, and close proximity to the beautiful Pipiwai Trail. While some campers experienced noise disturbances and the campground lacks water and showers, the overall serene atmosphere and natural beauty make it a memorable experience for many.

Very nice and well kept campground! Plenty of open space and space between each campsite so it doesn't feel cramped and provide lot of privacy. Beautiful campground! Need to bring your own water. Water fountain is available at the visitor center nearby but not at campsite. It rains hard every night we were there even in August at this site so beware if you plan to sleep in your tent. Sleeping in a camper or elevated tent would be a much better option.

Large campsites and quiet atmosphere, and its within walking distance of the Seven Pools and Waimoku Falls Trailhead. Bring bug spray.

Campsite 17 is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend booking a campsite along the cliff, just outside the loop of campsites 1-15. It is beautiful and the hikes are great too! I wish we had booked more than one night. We will definitely be back and book a few nights next time.

No access to water via garden hose to fill the tank on our campervan. Also some confusion on which site to choose based on our circumstances - the website was not clear. Finally, dissapointed that we couldn't swim at the 7 pools.
