Kipahulu is a BEAUTIFUL area of Maui, not to be missed. It's disappointing that you can no longer swim in the pools, but there are fabulous hikes, incredible vistas, and interesting archeological sites scattered throughout. Be cautious and obey the signs -- nature is beautiful but it can be dangerous and many of these sites are sacred, so treat them with respect! Enjoy your trip!
