We were at site 55 South Marcum. It was a really nice site. I was impressed on how well maintained it was & that the fire pits are cleaned out twice a week. The camp ground host when we arrived was awesome. Made the beginning of our camping experience fun.

We stayed at Owls Roost on lot 18. We enjoy this little area and discovered Beaver Lodge connected by a concrete walk though a nice wooded area and the other camping areas connected by a wonderful path around Blue Heron pond.
We are down here from Central Illinois because of work in the area and coming back to camp is better than home.

Sites were shaded, not too close to neighbors, long enough so tow vehicle easily fit. Utilities worked, grounds were mowed and the staff even offered to blow grass clippings off our site... a first!

Nice shade, a little messy as it had rained - lots of ruts where people back in. Quiet camping loop
