We had a great campsite, perfect weather and since it was the first week of school there were not very many fellow campers.

Absolutely love to camp at South Marcum. Normally everyone is friendly and happy to help if needed. We absolutely love Rend Lake and highly recommend South Marcum camp ground. AAAAA++++ the host are absolutely amazing and friendly at this camp ground.

We love South Marcum & stayed for 2 weeks...nice site, could use more shade but the only major thing we had a problem with was the grass. It needed mowed bad. They finally mowed a couple days before we left but it really wasn't much of an improvement. It really needs mowed more often or cut shorter, otherwise we had a nice stay.
