We loved everything about it. Will be back. Only drawback is it closes in winter. We travel all year and donβt need facilities. Would come back in winter if it were open

Great little campground. Most of the spots are on the lake. Grounds are very well kept, restrooms and showers are clean. Iβd definitely recommend staying here.

Lots of sites along the water in the campground. Generally well kept. Southern winds pose a problem for boating, and the shores are very rocky, so not great for swimming. From dinner time to 10:06pm on Saturday, the folks at site 16 decided the entire campground needed to hear bar-level volume and terrible karaoke, completely ruining a quiet and warm evening for the entire campground. We need more enforcement!

Relatively quiet campground, has a boat ramp. The sites sit above the water and the shores are rocky on this side. Good for boating, not so much for swimming.
They have a fun Ranger program for kids, and the campsites have covers, water and electric. Some sites are closer together than others. The entire area is well cared for.
We had a great stay other than the currently drunk dudes that someone provided with a karaoke machine. Seriously my ears are bleeding! Please be considerate of other campers, and for goodness sake pick up your dog poo!

From I-70, take Highway 177 south for 30 miles. Turn west across Dam Road, then turn right on to City Lake Road and continue for 2 miles. Campground entrance road is on the right.

Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Park gates close at 10pm, all park visitors who are not camping must depart prior to 10 p.m. |
