This park is about 10 minutes outside of Munising, MI, so there is quite a bit to do there. We did some hiking and took the boat tour at Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore. The sites are good sized, and the vault toilets were the cleanest ones I have seen.

Walked the beach and was attacked by sand fleas, both legs up to my knees, I was wearing shoes and long pants. Needed medical attention, antibiotics and a topical cream. The campground itself was very nice.

The road coming into campground and through the campground is badly in need of serious repair, preferrably repaving!

Great location to use a base camp to visit surrounding sites along Lake Superior. Clean spacious sites.

We're yearly visitors and enjoy this clean well-managed campground and were happy to see the renovated vault toilets this year. The road in could use some upkeep and it would be wonderful if generator operation were more limited.

Our campsite (38) was clean, but dusty. Flat with plenty of space. The beach was a short bike ride away - I would choose a closer site next time. Bugs were pretty awful in July, so we could not spend much time outside in the evening. The lake was amazing - clear, warm, fun for swimming.

Great reservable location for access to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, boat tours (Pictured Rocks, also Shipwreck Tours of Grand Island). Sites nicely screened with vegetation, clean outhouses, beach access. Recommend The Duck Pond right by the entrance road for great fish tacos and wide array of beers and cider.
