We loved our time at Bay Furnace. Great campsite with access to the lake. Large site ( site 15???) with lots of trees. Would definitely recommend this campground.

Such a beautiful campground. A little too close to the highway (we could hear traffic noise), but not loud enough to ruin our stay.

short walk to Superior beach for swimming. Dump station was convenient and clean. Campground was well maintained and sites had some gap between them for some privacy.

Very clean campground that offers gorgeous lake superior as well as surrounded by trees. The restrooms are convirntly located nar campaites. They also offer firewoood for a great price considering how much you get. Beautiful open land area on the water that included a fire pit and a several grills. we also did have cell service. can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely awful. I had a reservation for three nights. On the last night when we arrived to our campsite after a day of hiking we discovered our campsite had been given to someone else. Camp host said they thought we left because we didn’t leave anything behind. We were never told we had to leave something behind. Not only did they give our campsite to someone else they were completely rude about it and wouldn’t let us stay at another camp site or refund us the money for the last night. It was completely ridiculous. We were forced to drive the 4 hours back home.

This is a beautiful spot. Sites are nice and lots of space between them. If I'm in the area, I'm camping back here!
There are onsite managers for the site and firewood, clean facilities.
