Quiet and clean campsite. The overall campground was clean and there was always wood available to purchase. The only downfall was not having a shower facility on the grounds.

We had a very enjoyable stay this past September. The campground was quiet and the bathrooms were always clean. We were close to everything we wanted to do in the area. We would definitely camp here again.

We stayed at this campground for two days and we were very happy with our stay there. Each camping site is huge! We parked our vehicle and we had two tents and we didn't even cover half the space. There is a nice fire pit and it was surrounded by trees (on three sides), so there was good seclusion. Some sites are more open, so please look at the photos or google maps/earth before you decide which site works for you. One of the days we had a group of bikers close by and they were making it little loud, but not too bad. Night sky was beautiful too, you can take some photos if you want.
There are some reviews about mosquitoes, I was there in fall time and there was no mosquitoes at all. If you are staying in summer, definitely bring some repellent.
Bay Furnace was literally a min away and the beach area is beautiful! There is a gas station right across the road from the campground, it is very convenient. Pictured rocks is close, you can cover most of the lakeshore and not spend too much time traveling.
Overall i had great experience, price was right, good and convenient location, big enough space, close by dumpster and restroom.

The campground is filled with trees. Our site had a canape of trees, quiet, secluded, very nice. We enjoyed our rocks, time by the water and exploring the area.

The bathrooms were a bit smelly but clean. I guess you need to expect this because it is rustic.
