Host was good about keeping the noise level down. No one goes camping to listen to someone else's radio, a loud generator, or a bunch of drunks. This is a quiet campground. If you need to party, you'd best go somewhere else.

This park is really nice and I have wanted to camp here for 15 yrs or so. This year we made it happen. The park conditions are very clean and well cared for. Our host was nice, (unfortunately I forgot his name). We lucked out with the weather and it was really nice. I did not get the site I wanted, (popular place!), but the one we had worked out OK. We will definitely be back!

The best campground that we stay at in all our trips. The lot was very large and clean. There was lots of bush between site for privacy. Host persons were very friendly and help full. Washrooms were very clean and smelled nice. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Great location along Lake Superior with big campsites. Our host was wonderful and provided games to the campground and even a Free Little Library.

We have been campers at Bayview for years and were surprised at how many more people have found out about our little hideaway.
Staff were VERY welcoming and helpful. One must-see local spot is Lothrop and Sons Fish House. The whitefish is the FRESHEST in the entire U.P. unless you catch it yourself. They have eat-in or take out options but no frills - we like it that way.
If the Dancing Crane decides to open its doors, we recommend it for the best coffee and ice cream!

From Brimley, Michigan, travel west on County Road 42/Whitefish Bay Scenic Byway for approximately 8 miles. Bay View is on the north side of the road.
Bay View is accessible via County Road 42/Whitefish Bay Scenic Byway, which connects to M-221 approximately 10 miles to the east.
