Beautiful site, lot of spots overlooking the lake, each site has plenty of room. Hosts were friendly and toilets (vault) were clean. No dumps for RV.

The campground hosts were great. A great area to fish and hike. The parking area camping parts of both campgrounds, Gulch and Holter, should be first come first serve.

Campground was not green like in years past. The grass was not cut or trimmed..
Your fish cleaning station not open. Just excuses on why it wasn’t open..
What a trajectory that Log Gulch campground is not open.. maybe we should cut staffing and move them down so the people can enjoy what our tax dollars are paying for.

The camp host we’re amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Even though they were short handed the toilets were clean and the ground well groomed.
We’ve already booked another stay.

The log barriers defining each camp site, especially the first two nearest the road need flags 3 to 4 ft high so they can be seen in the rear view mirror when backing a trailer or boat in.

A great spot to put your feet up and enjoy the views and lovely weather. If you boat or fish you'll be extra pleased. We come here every year from Alberta usually on our way to southern states. It is a great place to hang out and enjoy. One year we kayaked both the Gateway To The Mountains and down the river from the dam which was a good adventure with high flow. The little gas station close by in Wolf Creek has everything you'll need - I like the goat milk hand lotion made locally in MT and pick up a few bottles each trip. The drives in and around the region are gorgeous and if you need RV repairs or more - Helena isn't too far. We also stay in Choteau coming down from Glacier.
