Holter Lake Campground offers beautiful, well-maintained sites with friendly and helpful staff, providing stunning views of the lake and various recreational activities like fishing and boating. Many guests appreciate the cleanliness, convenient boat launch, and the inviting atmosphere created by fellow campers. Holter Lake campground is maintained nicely. Would really like to know when the fish cleaning stations are going to open up? Not having them available is super inconvenient!

Nice parking areas and boat launch. Maintenance of dying trees is lacking. They will be gone soon if something more isn't done. Very disappointed in the fact that the fish cleaning stations are not open. That is one of the perks we pay for there and they've been closed 2 years now We were told the reason was COVID last year. That should excuse does not fly anymore in my book.

Again, I must state that the campground is very good. As I have commented before, pleas to open the fish cleaning station go unanswered. No explanation is ever given ( from BLM office or Recrecation.gov).
Too many campsites go unoccupied due to not being available to the public when a reservation is a "no show" and not cancelled. The no show rule is not being enforced and potential campers are being denied an opportunity to claim a site.
Otherwise its a great campsite.

The man that hosts the campground is very rude. This was a constant issue thru the two nights/days we were there.

Great sites, only some folks run generators all day long not 15 feet from your site. Not just one or two but several did it, and some gererators were extremly loud. But lots of wildlife right inside the park.
