What Guests Are Saying
Holter Lake Campground offers beautiful, well-maintained sites with friendly and helpful staff, providing stunning views of the lake and various recreational activities like fishing and boating. Many guests appreciate the cleanliness, convenient boat launch, and the inviting atmosphere created by fellow campers. However, issues such as noise disturbances, reservation challenges, and limited amenities like electricity and dump stations have been noted, particularly during busy weekends.

Something needs to be done about the weeds. We had so much thistle in the grass of our campsite, we couldn't let the dogs be in the grass at all.

5 star campground. The campground hosts at both Holter and Log gulch were excellent performers. There is a reason that the Holter lake campgrounds require reservations. They have become destinations for a great outdoor experience. Bar none.

We had a party of three campers on 9/17/21 - 9/20/21 and the camp host was not
polite. Rest rooms needed to be clean. Fire pits needed cleaning. It was hard to get into camping spots no matter what size camper you have. Roads are narrow and fencing on road. Makes it difficult to manuver. Over all unsatisfied will not book a camp site there in the future.

1st time at this location. Mostly just to check it out and what to expect. Pleasant surprise will just have to get used to the reservation system. Camp hosts were very helpful. Thanks

Our site had plenty of room for our RV, and we were able to pull into it without any trouble. Some of the sites don't have as much turn room for a larger RV.
The campground was nicely kept up, and has a beautiful view.
