Campsites are great. Fire restrictions were updated.
AGAIN, NO FISH CLEANING STATION OPEN! Both at lower Holter and Log Gulch campgrounds.
There are no COVID 19 restrictions at the campgrounds that would prevent the fish cleaning stations to be open.

Beautiful, clean and well taken care of campground. The lake is deep, large and gorgeous. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to boat to the Gates of The Mountains, which is a 20 mile trip down of wide, winding river and well worth the visit! The boat ramp/parking area is very busy, but the first come, first serve free boat slips was such a nice added bonus. I would highly recommend camping here. One thing I would note, is that if you have a large motor coach, I think that driving and parking it here would be difficult.

The chech in/ out times are a little odd. You almost need to reserve 3 days to be able to feel like you camped. Otherwise the grounds are very pleasant.

BLM emailed prior to our date announcing Holter Lake closed due to fires.
We regrettably camped elsewhere.
Can we get a refund?
Thank you

Campground was very well kept. Campsites were clean of any garbage. Unfortunately, could not fish because lake closed for fire fighting planes.
Restrooms were clean, bit smelly but probably because of the long period of heat & lack of water & chemical to work.
