Nice visitor center and really nice "heated bathrooms'.
It snowed while we were there, beautiful!
The Rangers were very helpful and informative.

Early November stay planned for 4 days during start of windy snow squall front. Decided on early departure due to nasty weather front. Nearly stranded due to mud conditions on south road out of Chaco. Well groomed sites, relatively easy access to toilets and water in building that is well maintained, reduced campground size due to areas being blocked from rockfall, and great place to be in golden light of dawn & dusk. No fires allowed, so plan on having gear to keep you occupied during night, either in tent or auto/RV. Highly recommend some sort of wind break or shelter.

The campground was very clean and well kept, especially the bathrooms. Huge appreciation to the two native gentlemen who were working on the weekend of 10/31-11/3, the bathrooms were spotless and they were very friendly to talk to. Muchas Gracias y Dios te bendiga!

The campground was meticulously maintained. The NPS host was helpful and an overall lovely person. I do wish the dump station was in operation while we were there, it had been closed for the season. We were there for 3 nights and had a wonderful trip.

It was a wonderful experience! I was a solo female traveler and at 67, I took my first tent camping trip. I loved every minute of it. I felt safe the entire time! I highly recommend this wonder site. I recommend that you take some time in advance to read about Chaco Canyon and its story.

Campground was very nice and easy. My site was flat. There were a lot of people there but it got very quiet at the appropriate time. And Chaco Canyon was wonderful. Especially enjoyed the night sky event.

We stayed in site 5 again. I was clean and ready to go. I was glad to see the west side restroom unlocked and available. No problems with Gallo.
