We had a wonderful camping trip. All the sites are large and clean. The showers were very clean. My only suggestion would be to have better marked trails. But overall everything was excellent. We canβt wait to return!

We loved this park, especially the wooded campsites with lots of privacy and the close proximity to the trails to the Arboretum.

Very clean campground and sites had privacy. Our host was very friendly and all park attendants were super nice as well.
At first I was a little worry about the warnings of black bears, as my family always camp in a tent, but we did not see any at the "big John loop". There were no bear boxes there either. We did make sure to keep all of our food locked in the vehicle.
We will definitely come back. Thank you!
