Wonderful experience at Lake Powhatan. Very spacious sites, staff were very friendly and park was well maintained. We loved all the trails and close location to Asheville, which is a gem. We hope to be back again! The Millerβs

Nice facility, and staff. They were able to help me out when I messed up my reservation on a busy weekend!

Easily accessible campsites with just enough privacy. Very clean bath houses and personable staff. Great mountain bike trails, lake access, and mountain scenery. 10 minute drive to Asheville Outlet mall and Farmer's market.

Lake Powhatan is always a great place to stay when we visit the Asheville area. Winter camping can sometimes be a challenge and although we experienced temps below freezing, we had no problems. We appreciate the heated restrooms and showers and the full hook-ups for our RV.

This was my first time staying at a pay camp ground we were happy with everything. I just wish that the showers didn't turn off as quick. For city camping it was great.

Our first visit. The layout of the campground gives a great vibe under the trees. Hiking and biking trails are everywhere. Most impressed with this staff. They rocked it. Always smiling, they live on site. Constant rounds cleaning bath houses and keeping this park spotless. Our first visit, but we will be back. Well done!

This was a great area! Stayed four nights, hot showers, and fairly private camping spots, and the staff was super friendly! Would definitely stay again in the future!
