I've been here twice and each time was unforgettable. The Oconaluftee is one of the prettiest little rivers ever. There is so much history in these hills. Please support the Cherokee Nation whenever possible by visiting nearby Cherokee. And share their story. Their resilience is inspiring.

Really large campground with lots of options. Great location and proximity to the Park and Cherokee. There wasn't really cell service, but we liked that. Nicely wooded with a creek running through it.
