this is a rather rustic wooded campground with electric service. No water service other than drinking water spigots. The sites are not level. There are a lot of trees so it is very shady and a lot of pollen and tree stuff.
It is quiet but a lot of birds singing early in the AM. The road to the campground is very rough (stones). It is a long way from civilization.

I have never stayed anywhere. That the host comes into my campsite and tells me to turn my music down (which was coming from my phone and turned down ). But then the next night after 10 pm campsite down from us. They were very loud and setting off their car alarm non stop. One time it went off. It was going off for three straight minutes. But the host never went to them. And the bathrooms were very disgusting and stunk. And the water for the showers smelled really bad. And the site we had was very small. I am going to give it one more try at a different site. But if the experience is just as bad. I will not stay there again. This was our first time staying. We usually do Morrow Mountain.

We have been staying at arrowhead camp ground for many years and twice every year.but our last stay their april 21-24 was the worse time ever. We come all the way from va with our jeep club twice every year but this year we were constantly harassed by park attendees and park rangers we have two many vehicles on our site . Well we have a truck that pulls our camper and off road vehicle and another vehicle to have to go out to stores with but no we had to rent another site to put one vehicle there and we couldn’t have any no camping visitors because then again to many vehicles . They have no respect or consideration for the handicap all they were concerned was no more than two vehicles our handicap tags mean nothing at arrowhead campground so if you are planning a trip to camp their don’t oh and be really quiet after 10pm who goes camping and goes to bed by 10 I hope I never have to stay there again

We had a pull-through site which was wonderful but it wasn't level and by the time we leveled our RV, We were about 2.5 FEET off from the first step. We used leveling blocks to provide us with an extra step but it still wasn't high enough. We drove to Walmart and purchased a 1.5 foot step stool to help. Other than that, it was a great time. We didn't use the restrooms or showers but I visited them to get some photos and video for our youtube and instagram accounts - they were clean and looked to be in great shape.

The campground itself was awesome. Clean restrooms, large space. The picnic tables and power hookup were used by our family. The trails around the campsite were fantastic and conveniently located as well as access to the lakefront. There was a lot of litter around the lake area and there were some sketchy people sleeping on a picnic table and asking for rides into town.
