Very clean and quiet. Hiking trails were fun and well marked. We will be back very soon!

Our first time in the Badin Lake area. We enjoyed the campground, our site was pretty private. The sites are well laid out and the picnic table was large. The bath house wasn't too far, it was spartan but clean and well maintained. The paved trail around the campground was nice, and the proximity to the lake was great. We did hike trail #94, which went along the lake then into the woods (at least the direction we took). It was a bit more strenuous than we expected, there are some inclines and lots of downed trees, but very enjoyable and scenic. Our only comment that might be negative is that the shooting area, while some distance away, was in easy earshot and there was gunfire throughout the day. Not terribly loud, but certainly noticeable.
Overall, a nice experience, we hope to come back!

Campground was very nice! We were aware that we would need to use the dump station upon leaving, but wasn't aware of there being no water hookup at the campsites, so we had to drive back around to fill our fresh water tank. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stay, and we were able to scope out our next site selection!
