The Camp Host are absolutely ridiculous. The hand written signs throughout the camp ground are unprofessional and tacky. Someone needs to sit down and explain the roll of a host to these individuals. The “check-in” policy they are attempting to create has no purpose other than to harass campers. Most take camping as an opportunity to “get away”. We book online through Recreation.gov. They send us maps and site info with no instruction about checking in yet these host feel the need to push there way in and harass you on what should be a relaxing vacation. The host are unprofessional and sloppy. Both of there sites are absolutely horrible, broken down vehicles in one with a sloppy appearance, animal cages set up in the other and again not well kept and clean. They could spend more time taking care of sites, fire pits, roads, and bathroom facilities. The sites were covered in leaves not allowing you to see where the forest floor started which was a nuisance setting up in the evening. The ash had been shoveled out and thrown behind the fire pit which was sloppy. Roads were covered over making it hard to navigate at night. The bathrooms needed tons of attention!!
