I do enjoy camping here but every campsite we have stayed at the fire pits are full. I don’t think the hosts do a good job of cleaning the sites. The bathrooms could be cleaner as well

Always a great place to camp ! We go mostly to relax and ride the OHV trails but there is plenty of other things to do.

I do enjoy camping here but every campsite we have stayed at the fire pits are full. I don’t think the hosts do a good job of cleaning the sites. The bathrooms could be cleaner as well

Bathrooms and shower area need some much needed help. I wouldn't use them both I did check them out and they were horrible. When we arrived the sewer wasn't turned off so we couldn't dump before starting to camp. That was bad and there wasn't any water. We had to use some hoses to get water from the spigots with a few hoses. Our site which was #12 wasnt the best it had a major slope to it and we got a heavy heavy rain. We were okay tho. But other then these few issues it was a quiet and off the road place to camp. Sites all seemed to be spacious. Would consider camping there again in the future.

Great campground. Friendly and very helpful host. Could use some hand soap and paper towels/air dryers in the restrooms/bathhouses. Lots of trails to walk. Bring a boat.

Horrible stay because of the host. He spent all day into the night pounding and drilling on his truck. The place looked like a junk yard. The noise was so bad I couldn’t drown it out inside my RV. Took what should have been a nice quiet camp on the woods, into a noise nightmare. He should had been spending some time on the sites. Trash in fireplace and everywhere else.

Camp host Jennifer was very pleasant and helpful. Our site was going to be difficult to get into except she gave us the best route to get into it. Restroom was heated and clean. Our site was spacious although very close to our neighbor. Lots of trails for hiking and biking.

From Troy, North Carolina, take State Highway 109 north for approximately 10 miles. Turn left onto Mullinix Road (County Highway 1154), and travel approximately 1.5 miles to a stop sign and "T" intersection. Turn right, and go approximately 2 miles to another stop sign and "T" intersection. Turn left and travel about 2 miles, following the signs to the campground.
Arrowhead Campground is accessible via State Highway 109, which is approximately 10 miles south of the campground.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
