What Guests Are Saying
Badin Lake Campground offers a peaceful and scenic environment, making it a great choice for those who enjoy rustic camping and proximity to hiking trails. Many visitors appreciate the quiet atmosphere, clean campsites, and friendly interactions with fellow campers. However, the campground's restroom facilities could use significant improvements, and some sites are closely spaced, impacting privacy. Overall, campers enjoy their experiences but recognize the need for better maintenance in certain areas.

Absolutely love this campground...lots of wooded campsites on the lake (or just a short walk through the woods) that provide plenty of visual privacy! We only stayed one night and unfortunately had some kids on a party barge in the middle of the lake blasting their music until 3am or so...so much for a peaceful night's sleep... maybe next time! We'll be back and will hope for more considerate neighbors (Nothing against Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA"...I just don't want to hear it blasting across the lake at 2:30am!)

Really lovely campsite and perfect for a quick overnight with kids. Site 9 was spacious and shaded - with access to the water!

We had a wonderful time. The sites are big enough fornat least 2 tents. The hiking trails are nice and clear. The bath house was well maintained. We can't wait to go back.

Great lake access on many sites! There was plenty of trees separating the sites. I appreciated the clean showers/restrooms .

We had a great time. We were right next to the lake and we’re able to peacefully hang in our hammocks all week. It was super quiet in the middle of the week and we felt comfortable as 3 women by ourselves the entire time
