What Guests Are Saying
Badin Lake Campground offers a peaceful and scenic environment, making it a great choice for those who enjoy rustic camping and proximity to hiking trails. Many visitors appreciate the quiet atmosphere, clean campsites, and friendly interactions with fellow campers. However, the campground's restroom facilities could use significant improvements, and some sites are closely spaced, impacting privacy. Overall, campers enjoy their experiences but recognize the need for better maintenance in certain areas.

Nice campground away from roads. Restrooms weren't the cleanest (& people smoked inside them). Push button showers. Wish more sites had lake access. Enjoyed walking the trails which had a few cool spots along the way to enjoy the lake

Had to listen to campers in site #4s generator from 8 am to 10 pm EVERY day for 5 days! If you feel the need to run your generator to disturb others please invest in a quiet one!! We came to the lake to relax, to enjoy ourselves as well….but having to yell over the sound of your generator was not enjoyable, we stayed on edge and couldn’t enjoy ourselves at all! We did get to listen to nature from 10 to 11 pm….I hope you had a good time and teach your kids to respect others when camping. Camp host is incredibly nice and helpful and we usually love it there, maybe our next time in September will be quieter!

Would have been better if someone wasn’t in our camp site and we had to wait 3 hours before they got out of our camp site
