For anyone who likes to camp but has physical limitations, I highly recommend Downstream Campground’s handicap sites, which can be reserved by phone. My mom has mobility issues and uses a walker. The oversized, level concrete pad in the handicap sites have even the picnic table and fire pit set up for accessibility. The bathroom/shower house is directly across from these sites as well and also are set up well for handicap use. I am so grateful sites like this exist so we can still make these memories together occasionally.

The campground host was very nice and friendly. After a storm went through they were out the next morning and did a great job cleaning up right away and offering help. We camp there often and recommend it. Did not get the hosts name, but thank her.

Beautiful campground with large trees, walking trails, paved sites and fishing. Sites have electricity but no water hook ups.

The campground is very well maintained. Campsite was long and level, with beautiful green grass and shady trees! Nice, clean shower buildings with HOT water! YaY! Campground Host was very friendly and helpful! We will stay again if our travels bring us back this way. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at the Downstream Campground very much. We try to stay there at least once every summer. The loops are big enough that all the camp sites are well spaced, and we really enjoy that aspect, seperation from your neighbors.
