What Guests Are Saying
Hawthorn Bluff offers a peaceful camping experience with beautiful lake views, well-maintained trails, and clean facilities, making it a popular choice for families and groups. While some RV sites are not level and certain amenities like hot water and flushing toilets experienced issues, the friendly staff and clean environment contribute positively to visitors' experiences. Overall, guests appreciate the campground's serene atmosphere and accessibility to nearby attractions, despite occasional maintenance concerns.

It would have been nice to have water near our camp spot. There is not enough water spickets at Hawthorn Bluff and it makes it inconvenient to have to fill your tank before you park.

Beautiful facility! I love Hawthorn. It's such a nice peaceful campground with clean bathrooms and showers. My only complaint: STAY OPEN LONGER! I'd love to camp here in November! I don't understand why it closes down so early in the year.

Seem to be a lot of day users using fishing dock in campground area. People not policing cigarette butts in there campsites. Dog litter receptor or trash can a little more spread out around campground would be nice.
