What Guests Are Saying
Hawthorn Bluff offers a peaceful camping experience with beautiful lake views, well-maintained trails, and clean facilities, making it a popular choice for families and groups. While some RV sites are not level and certain amenities like hot water and flushing toilets experienced issues, the friendly staff and clean environment contribute positively to visitors' experiences. Overall, guests appreciate the campground's serene atmosphere and accessibility to nearby attractions, despite occasional maintenance concerns.

We thoroughly enjoyed this place my only gripe reason not 5 stars is due to the fact my husband changed his mind on which site to stay he asked to switch and was told he had to go online and rent other and get refund on one didn't want. So we do and can't get our refund for the diet we paid for but didn't use. Neither online or gentleman in office have resolved this issue both blaming the other. So I doubt I use either again

The site was nice but there was no water within a reasonable distance. The website should notify us when water is not going to be available, or how far it's going to be from the selected site.

Gorgeous campground. Spot 64 is flat, large, and perfect for the 5 y/o birthday party we had. We will stay here again!

Love this place. Always clean, mowed and well taken care of. Lots to do or not to do, whatever you chose.
