What Guests Are Saying
Hawthorn Bluff offers a peaceful camping experience with beautiful lake views, well-maintained trails, and clean facilities, making it a popular choice for families and groups. While some RV sites are not level and certain amenities like hot water and flushing toilets experienced issues, the friendly staff and clean environment contribute positively to visitors' experiences. Overall, guests appreciate the campground's serene atmosphere and accessibility to nearby attractions, despite occasional maintenance concerns.

Hawthorne Bluff is my favorite campground. However I did visit 3 other campgrounds and the playgrounds there are awesome! I feel Hawthorne should be improved.

The sites are OK. The hosts are great. The bathrooms are nasty, very outdated, and missing key parts, i.e. shower curtains. Until Hawthorne Bluffs improve their bathrooms, we recommend going elsewhere.

Why are you no longer cleaning the campsites. We have camped most of Alril. Leaves & dirt under all the table and eating areas. Our last stay this week someone had spilled grease on the cement by the charcoler we had to eatch our oup out of it all week. One of the camp families had a german sheppard that ran loose.
