We were over run by raccoons! Spencer Creek camp was quieter and quite a bit better for tent camping

We love Hawthorne Bluff. I always try to reserve our favorite spot. Quiet, friendly, close to a bait shop and grocery store.

I love everything about this campground except all the noncampers that think they can come in and fish on the dock and nobody can make them leave.

Very beautiful and clean place. Only problem was trying to trade spots but it was finally taken care of. One night there was a strange raccoon in front of shower door eating bugs the light attracted. I was scared of it and called my husband to the rescue.
