About Ives Run

Ives Run Campground sits on the eastern shore of Hammond Lake in north-central Pennsylvania. Surrounded by lush forested ridges, the lake offers recreation for the entire family, including picnicking, swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, hunting and wildlife watching. Ives Run, with its beach and grassy sunning area, is a great place for kids of any age. The facility has campsites as well as group picnic shelters that can be reserved for family reunions, company picnics, neighborhood gatherings and other group events.

Ives Run is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious sites, friendly staff, and a scenic location near Hammond Lake. Many visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, the peaceful atmosphere, and the variety of outdoor activities available, such as fishing, hiking, and biking. Some minor issues were noted, including inconveniences with sewer hookups and limited availability for late-season bookings, but overall, campers had a great experience and expressed a strong desire to return.

Beauitful campground. HOWEVER the bathhouse/restrooms were the worst I have ever seen. Beauitful from the outside but disgusting on the inside. They were not cleaned once during our entire visit. 29 May - 2 June.

Beautiful location and grounds. My only complaint is the unclean and broken/outdated bathroom facilities. I will never return for this reason alone. The bathrooms all need attention, whether it’s fixing broken faucets, toilets or shower heads and needs a deep cleaning!!! All bathrooms, not just one.

We very much enjoyed our camping trip!! The only thing i would make someone highly aware of about coming to camp here is that it is VERY VERY hard to find anyone to call about questions. But we made it and everything worked out fine. :)

Weather was great . We took our new 6 month lab puppy. Loved walking around park. Riding bikes .. Very clean & our camp host was very nice. Only issue was the goose poop near swim area. We love it here. Relaxing n quiet. We had to cut visit short a day. Battery camper issue. We are coming back couple weeks again. Looking forward to fishing & kayaking then …
