Beautiful park. Well maintained with extremely large sites. The site I chose was paved and level. Very easy to set up camp.

We had a much better site than last year with both sun & shade. Host were visible around the park and appeared to be friendly however we did not need to interact with them at all!
Site was clean and ready as we got there although we came in a day later but early enough to enjoy the day!
My only complaint the entire time we were there is that the grass needed mowing bad and they finally got to it on Monday of our second week however they didn’t do any trimming and our site did not get trimmed for many weeks before that as the weeds were at least 18” tall around the water and electric spigots on our site 82.
I feel bad for the next people coming in as they won’t even be able to find the sewer as the weeds had them buried!
If the lawn mowing people aren’t going to trim then the host should do it!
But I didn’t see one just do any trimming around the water or electric utilities on any campsite!
Other than that we love Ives Run and it just really needs to have a little more attention in these areas!

We were disappointed that the lake was closed so we were unable to enjoy kayaking on this visit. We know that was for our safety and beyond anyone's control.
