About Ives Run

Ives Run Campground sits on the eastern shore of Hammond Lake in north-central Pennsylvania. Surrounded by lush forested ridges, the lake offers recreation for the entire family, including picnicking, swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, hunting and wildlife watching. Ives Run, with its beach and grassy sunning area, is a great place for kids of any age. The facility has campsites as well as group picnic shelters that can be reserved for family reunions, company picnics, neighborhood gatherings and other group events.

Ives Run is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious sites, friendly staff, and a scenic location near Hammond Lake. Many visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, the peaceful atmosphere, and the variety of outdoor activities available, such as fishing, hiking, and biking. We had a delightful time in space 90 BIR. Clean plenty of space, Tree overhead, but not too "woodsy". Park was full, plenty of kids, but place was big enough that it was quite at the right times and only encounter was with them biking the circles. Great for walking around. Open spaces, and all amenities worked. Onsite store was handy for some quick supplements. If you can get away, Wellsboro is a fun place and the 'grand canyon' of PA is close by.
