What Guests Are Saying
Ives Run is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious sites, friendly staff, and a scenic location near Hammond Lake. Many visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, the peaceful atmosphere, and the variety of outdoor activities available, such as fishing, hiking, and biking. Some minor issues were noted, including inconveniences with sewer hookups and limited availability for late-season bookings, but overall, campers had a great experience and expressed a strong desire to return.

Nice sites/park, lake and hosts; hook-ups were convenient and all in order; However, shower and bathroom facilities are really outdated and seem small for the number of sites; the facilities next the beach really needs attention.

Very nice park. Spacious sites with nice, mowed grass everywhere. Every site we saw had at least one shade tree. Glad I printed out campground map before arriving - no one working at office any more. Caution: Hickory loop is the only loop that has shared utility hookups. Ours was on the "wrong" side and we had to park off the asphalt to reach the electrical panel. Some people had to buy a longer cord to reach. Will definitely be back.

Ives Run is our favorite campground. It’s clean, spacious, and friendly. Love that it’s only an hour from home with two close-by quilt stores. Also have a great mile loop to walk around. Found a great bike trail also.

A big, grassy campsite right on the lake with trees on 2 sides for some privacy. Hardly anyone else around in the overflow camping area. No real facilities except an outhouse but it was all we needed.

We have been coming to Ives Run for many years and we love the family atmosphere. BUT...The bathrooms are unsanitary and in disrepair. They need to be renovated.

For the 3rd year in a row, the pavilion was not clean. We had to go to the office and ask them to clean it. They were understaffed, so it took a little bit. They did clean it and they did refund our pavilion rental, but we will try to find a new venue for our next event. Also, the restrooms were messy and the grass was sort of long.

Some way should be found to educate campers about cutting through other campers sites. It is becoming far too frequent lately.
